Morning Meteorologist

WTVA, the #1 station in North Mississippi, is seeking an experienced meteorologist to join our dominant Monday-Friday morning newscasts and our Emmy award-winning team of meteorologists. Applicant must have a passion for severe weather coverage.  Our goal is simple: Win weather every day. Can you do that?  Do you understand the weather story and how it impacts our viewers? Can you communicate that story clearly and with passion? Can you keep them safe? If so, this may be the opportunity you have been looking for. WTVA understands the importance of weather and we invest heavily in the best technology available. Have you felt restrained by the lack of support and resources? The area is home to the Columbus Air Force Base, PACCAR, Toyota, and produces more home furnishings than any other area of the country. The cost of living is low too, so your generous compensation plan will give you more bang for your buck.
